Paula Despins is Vice President of Ad Measurement for Amazon Ads which includes campaign measurement, media planning, and Amazon Marketing Cloud. Paula’s organization of engineers, scientists, and product managers has end to end responsibility for transforming raw inputs into the campaign measurement and planning outputs that report advertising performance and enable secure data collaborations in the Amazon Ads marketing clean room. Joining Amazon Ads in 2013, she previously managed advertiser brand insight products and machine learning for display advertising ranking and bidding. Prior to Amazon, Paula was VP, Data Science at American Express. Paula holds graduate degrees in Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin, with a research focus on computational economics and econometrics.
